About The Founder of I ♥️ Islamorada

I’m Madeline Rousseau, a proud local resident of Islamorada and the founder of I ♥️ Islamorada. Someone once told me, “Come visit Islamorada—you may not want to leave,” and that’s exactly what happened. Born in New York and raised in South Florida, I now live my dream in paradise, surrounded by the community and waters I love.

I’m a published author of Struggled to Sold, a successful real estate broker, and most importantly, someone who is deeply passionate about helping others through my work. I created I ♥️ Islamorada as a way to give back, to showoff where I live, to spotlight local businesses, uplift community voices, and bring locals and visitor's  together through connection, collaboration, and genuine support.

My heart belongs to my two wonderful sons and my grandson, who are my greatest joy. In my free time, you’ll usually find me on or in the water, embracing the island lifestyle that inspires everything I do.

 I ♥️ Islamorada is more than a brand—it’s my way of sharing love for this community and helping others shine along the way.
